The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight-round match which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the pair confronted each other to promote the upcoming boxing match.
Ex twice unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami venue on 19 December.
Boxer's Mentality
"I will injure his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I will genuinely try to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Civil Exchange
Despite these statements, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually known for his dramatics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Paul instead attacked former Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "not serious" after the Cameroonian turned down a bout proposal.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, targeted UK opponent Fury - and declined a large bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua stated.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Opponent
Despite saying he intends to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Paul's Background
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He lost to British fighter Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
However, the novice remains one of boxing's greatest financial successes, regularly earning substantial financial rewards.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old anticipated a KO victory in rounds four or five and claimed he would derail the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly being planned for two years from now.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.
Physical Disparity
As Joshua and Paul met for the usual stare-down, with their size difference clearly visible, it emphasized just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the bout is actually happening.
