Norris Tops Oscar Piastri in Brazilian Practice Session
The British driver has outperformed Oscar Piastri at each of the previous five race weekends.
Lando Norris just pipped team-mate and title rival the Australian for the fastest time in the closing stages of the practice session at the Sao Paulo Grand Prix.
The British racer, who grabbed the championship lead from his teammate by a single point after taking the win in the Mexican Grand Prix recently, beat the Australian by a mere 0.023s.
Earlier in the session, Oscar Piastri had been the quickest of the McLaren pair throughout the hour before sprint qualifying scheduled for 18:30 GMT.
Max Verstappen, the other racer in the championship fight, trailing with a 36-point deficit Norris, finished in 17th position as his team opted for a alternative strategy.
